The temperature inside a commercial vehicle cab can affect performance for both the driver and the vehicle. At CVG, we collect and evaluate thermal measurements as part of the process to identify thermal solutions that increase driver comfort and fuel savings.
CVG can analyze infrared measurements taken on-road or in a climate-controlled chamber that provide images of a vehicle’s thermal insulation performance. Test results lead to cost-effective CVG product designs that provide thermal balance inside and outside the vehicle.
We also can outfit interior and exterior thermocouples on a vehicle to measure the thermal conductivity of vehicle components such as floor mats using our calibrated heat flow meter.
