Operating vehicles for the heavy truck, construction, agriculture, marine and specialty industries isn’t the same as driving the family car. At CVG, we research how commercial vehicle operators are affected by conditions and environments in which they work so we can continuously develop innovative products that result in improved operations.
Our driving simulator is designed to train and evaluate drivers in highway, city and off-road environments in both hypothetical and real driving situations.
The simulator is also used to evaluate some of our new products. For example, CVG’s latest truck seating system was engineered to improve comfort and prevent fatigue. Simulator testing of our new system measured a 40 percent improvement.
